A remortgage is swapping the mortgage on your current property for another mortgage with a different lender. How do I prove my income for a mortgage application?

If employed, you will need at least your last 3 months payslips and sometimes your P60. If self-employed, you can use SA302s from HMRC or at least 2 years of trading accounts. You will also need to provide bank statements for the last 3 months. If you have other income such as tax credits, written evidence from the provider will be required.
